1. Are these HID systems easy to install?
Yes. Our HID systems are what we believe to be the easiest systems to install. This is because they do not require seperate relay systems or wiring harnesses toconnect to the battery. There is no wire cutting involved when fitting these and all connectors are colour coded and fitted with fool proof connectors. This ensures that they can only be connected the correct way. If in any doubt however we do suggest you get an auto electrician to install them.
2. What is Xenon Light?
The xenon bulb is a micro discharge bulb filled with a mixture of noble gases including Xenon. The bulb has no filament as is the case with a halogen lamp. The light is created by striking and arc between 2 electrodes. The xenon lamp needs a starter for quick ignition and an electronic ballast to function properly.
3. What are the advantages of Xenon Light?
The xenon lamp produces 2 to 3 times as much light as a halogen lamp whilst only consuming half of the power. Therefore the driver can see more clearly and the car is more economical to run. The light produced by the Xenon bulb is the same as daylight. Research has shown that this enhances driver concentration and thus safety. The life expectancy of the xenon lamp is that of the life of the car and only needs replacing in exceptional cases.
4. Why was Xenon Light developed?
The car over the last decade has been made safer and more comfortable with the introduction of such technologies as ABS,Airbags and Air-conditioning. However 60% of all accidents take place in the dark. Therefore vehicle lighting plays a very big role in road safety. It is a fact that a 60 year old requires 10-11 times the amount of light to perform the same functions as a 20 years old. With the increase in the average age of the population more light is required to drive safely.
5. What is meant by active safety measures?
Better lighting leads to earlier and improved recognition of objects, cyclists, pedestrians and potential hazards ahead. it is alsovital that you get as much notice as possible of traffic signs and road markings to be able to react in good time. Therefore better lighting delivers an active contribution to road safety and driver comfort and can save lives.
6. How do I know my vehicle is equipped with Xenon system?
Xenon headlamps are easily recognizable because of their distinctive bluish white appearance vs. a more yellowishappearance of standard halogen systems. Headlights equipped with Xenon put more light on the road than standard halogensystems. Xenon systems flash blue and change color during the first few seconds of vehicle start-up.
7. Are all blue headlamps Xenon systems?
There are blue-coated (halogen) bulbs available that try to mimic Xenon color/appearance. The blue color of Xenon is not dueto a bulb coating, but rather is a result of the high voltage arc and discharge of internal gases.
8. How is Xenon different from Xenon lookalike bulbs?
It is somewhat difficult for an on-coming driver to determine if a vehicle is equipped with an Xenon system or halogen bulbs that are designed to mimic the appearance of Xenon. This is due to the fact that current versions of Xenon look-alike halogenbulbs closely parallel the color temperature of Xenon systems. However, a vehicle equipped with an Xenon system can usually be differentiated from an Xenon look-alike halogen system by the significant increase in foreground and side lightingresulting in better roadway illumination for the driver.
9. Does Xenon produce more glare?
Xenon does not produce more glare than a halogen system. Federal requirements, which limit the amount of headlamp glare,are identical for Xenon and halogen headlamp systems. The American Automotive Association (AAA) study on glare clearlyoutlines root causes for glare. Xenon is blue because of light energy distribution produced by gases inside of the bulb. Theradiation output of an Xenon bulb has a line spectrum with some of the peaks in the visible blue region.
10. Why does a Xenon bulb produce blue light?
The light produced by a xenon bulb is not in fact BLUE but WHITE falling well within the International specification for whitelight. The light only appears blue compared to the warmer yellowier light produced by halogen lamps. It clearly appears whitewhen compared to daylight. However with the introduction of certain crystals it is possible to create a stronger blue tint whichgives a more distinct look to your headlights. If you want the stronger blue tint then please select the 8000K system.
11. Why can't a xenon lamp produce the same color as halogen?
Technically speaking it could and it is possible to adapt the light colour produced. However, this would lead to substantial lossof intensity, thereby cancelling out the particular advantages gained. i.e. Increased driver concentration and reflection of theroad marking etc of white light.
12. Doesn't the use of Xenon lamps cause more irritation amongst other drivers?
The International regulations governing light distribution and intensity on the road are very strict. Xenon light falls well withinthese standards. Technically speaking , xenon lighting is less irritating than halogen lamps. This is because the light darknesstransition border are much more clearly defined. Less light is reflected into the eyes of oncoming drivers. The increased lightoutput is used to give more homogeneous light distribution and to improve the illumination of the verges.
13. Why is it that Xenon light sometimes causes irritation to oncoming drivers?
In normal conditions drivers look straight ahead. Due however to the conspicuous colour of the new technology drivers aremore inclined to look into other cars headlights. The same phenomenon was experienced with the introduction of halogenlamps in the sixties. In those days drivers spoke of those 'irritating white lights'. Everybody will gradually become accustomedto this type of light as they did to the introduction of yellow lights in France and the use of a third brake light.
14. What does the XENON HID light system kit include?
Our kits made from OEM grade materials that have been DOT approved. We will supply you with all of the necessary components and hardware to install this system into your vehicle. Each kit includes: 2 direct plug-in XENON H.I.D. lamps, 2 ballasts (transformer / igniter unit), all necessary wiring, complete and easy to follow installation instructions and wiring diagram.
15. Which model of HID kit should I buy?

16. How long will these bulbs last?
HID XENON lamps are designed to last for the life of your vehicle. They will run for over 2500 hours. Our lamp kits and bulbs are made of the finest materials available.
18. Will I lose the ability to use the High beams?
All originally supplied XENON H.I.D. lighting systems from automotive manufacturers use a dual bulb configuration for High and Low beam. A traditional halogen bulb is used for the High beam while a XENON H.I.D. lamp is utilized for the Low beam. Our kits are intended to replace the Low-beam components of the lighting system while still keeping the High beam halogen bulb fully operational.
Some vehicles use a single halogen bulb for both the High and Low beam (like H4). We offer a kit for these vehicles as well, but the functionality of the High beam is eliminated. We are also offering the Dual Beam / Hylow H4 kit where both High and Low beam are preserved.
An alternative to this is to use the low beam H4 kit and install the XENON HID light system kit into the auxiliary lights of your vehicle. This way, you will still have full High beam functionality and will increase the effectiveness of your auxiliary lights.
19. Are these XENON HID light systems street legal?
Every country and jurisdiction has its own rules and regulations governing the use of automotive lighting. XENON H.I.D. lighting systems that are supplied with the vehicles from the factory are DOT / E approved. Our kits are also made by the same OEM manufacturers that supply all the major car companies of the world. NO XENON H.I.D. lighting system available from any source is DOT / E approved if installed outside of the factory. These kits are not street legal for use on public roads as they are. As a result, we officially endorse the kit for exhibition and off-road use and will only sell the kit to be used for these purposes. We are not responsible for customers who violate the terms of sale in which they will assume all responsibilities for any unauthorized or unintended use other than exhibition or off-road use.
The ballasts and bulbs comes with 14 Months warranty from all factory defects. If any component fails within warranty period, we will replace the defective component immediately. Contact us with a description of the problem and we will be happy to assist.
21. Shipping and tax
We use EMS, DHL,TNT to deliver the product to you. EMS is the biggest express delivery service provider in China and is run by China Post. We declare the kit as a gift or samples with a value of $19.88 for each kit, so you don't need to pay for the tax or VAT at all.
